Melissa Emmerson
Ms. Melissa Emmerson is our K5 teacher! She has been apart of the ALCA family for as long as we can remember, and is loved by all the teachers, students, and parents. She is such a selfless, caring, loving soul that embodies what this school stands for. She loves your kids and takes the opportunity to teach and lead them very seriously. We are so grateful to have her apart of this school.

“My name is Ms Bucchi I have been teach close to 30yrs. I know God has called me to be a teacher I love hearing the children read and watch them add and subtract. I have 1 son, twin daughters, 1 daughter-in-law and 1 beautiful granddaughter”

Susan Wicker
“ My name is Susan Wicker and I have been teaching for 40+years. I have always considered teaching my calling and my mission. I have a wonderful husband, two daughters, a son in-law and a sweet grandson.”
3RD GRADE TEACHER
Luna Julot
Ms. Luna is from the Dominican Republic and has been with ALCA since the first of the year. She has subbed in various classrooms. Ms. Luna hold a BA in Religious Arts and Biblical Studies from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
She is the founder and former director of a Nonprofit Organization overseas, dedicated to help women, children and young adults. She has an extensive background in teaching English as Foreign Language (EFL), and is also fluent in 4 languages
4TH GRADE TEACHER
Angela Lee
“ I have a BS in Elementary Education and have held state certification for twenty-seven years. I married to a wonderful man who I assist in pastoral ministry. We have been blessed with three children. Nothing brings me more joy than the classroom moment of witnessing a student grasp a new concept.”
5TH GRADE TEACHER
Cowanda Cobbs
Ms. Cowanda Cobbs is our 5th grade teacher! She has been with ALCA a couple of years now, and is loved by all the teachers, students, and parents. She is such a blessing to us all and we know she is equipping your kids to be the best they can be!
6TH GRADE TEACHER
Robyn Owens
She is a graduate of Averett University. She has 20+ years in grades 4-6 education.
